MATLAB is an interactive "matrix laboratory'' for tasks involving matrices, graphics and general numerical computation. The Computing Centre offers a networked (concurrent) site license for Matlab and a number of toolboxes to university staff.
Current toolboxes include: Matlab (75) The pricing and order instructions can be found on the softweb website:Simulink (25) Control System Toolbox (10) Fuzzy Logic Toolbox (1) Image Processing Toolbox (10) Matlab Compiler (2) Neural Network Toolbox (10) Optimization Toolbox (25) Real-Time Workshop (10) Signal Processing Toolbox (25) Spline Toolbox (10) Statistics Toolbox (25) Symbolic Math Toolbox (2) System Identification Toolbox (25) The numbers between parentheses indicate how many simultaneous users can use a toolbox. http://softweb.vub.ac.be Note that, in order to use a networked license, the computer on which you will be running Matlab will have to be connected to the network when using Matlab, and also needs to have a fixed IP address. The Matlab license servers have been updated to version R2009b on 20 January 2010, make sure to use the license file which contains the USE_SERVER line and no INCREMENT lines are present in your license.dat file.
